VW Courtesy Care Protection Plan

The Courtesy Care Customer Loyalty Package provides an added level of driving comfort by covering many service and maintenance items not covered by the Volkswagen new vehicle limited warranty.

Battery coverage

Covers one battery replacement during the term of the contract, not including hybrid vehicle high voltage pack.

Brake Pad Coverage

Covers the replacement of one set of front and rear brake pads / shoes during the term of the contract.

Headlamp Coverage

Covers the replacement of the headlamps during the term of the contract, not including impact damage.

Belt & Hose Coverage

Covers the replacement of engine belts and hoses during the term of the contract.

Wiper Blade Coverage

Covers the replacement of one set of windshield wiper blades or inserts during th term of the contract.

Electrical Coverage

Covers Fuses, interior and exterior light bulbs including turn signal bulbs, engine compartment lights, running lights, fog lights, stop lights, backup lights, license plate lights, parking lights, trunk light, dome light, courtesy light, visor light, map light, and glove box light.

Alert Notification

Alert Notification provides a nationwide emergency notification membership service that provides a 24-hour hotline for accident and medical emergencies complementing and assisting the efforts of emergency service personnel in alerting family or significant others when an emergency occurs.

Extra Benefits

Rental Car Coverage	Provides up to $35 per day rental reimbursement for up to 10 days for mechanical repairs covered by Courtesy Care or the Volkswagon new vehicle limited warranty - including the first day of repair.
Travel Breakdown	The Plan will pay for $100 per day, up to $500 for food and lodging if the vehicle is inoperable due to a covered mechanical breakdown if the failure occurs more than 100 miles from home.
Towing Coverage	The Plan will pay up to $75 for towing due to mechanical failures covered by Courtesy Care or the Volkswagon limited warranty.
Road Hazard Tire Care	If the tire can be safely repaired, as determined by the repair facility, we will pay for or reimburse you for the repair, up to a maximum of $40. Unrepairable tires will be replaced with comparable new tires* In addition, should the wheel on which the covered damaged tire was mounted not hold air, the cost to repair or replace the wheel will also be covered. The maximum lifetime benefit for the duration of the contract is $5000. * As determined by Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc. the program administrator.
